May 2023

Dear Parents,

I hope everyone is doing well. Thanks so much to everyone who came out for the fundraiser. The committee did a great job and it was such a fun night. Thank you for supporting our school.

May is here and with it comes the realization that our school year is coming to a close. Where has the time gone? It just seems like yesterday it was Halloween. It’s been a fun and busy year. We’re sad to see our 4’s moving on but we know they’ll do great in kindergarten and we look forward to camp and a fun summer season.

The last day of school for our Tues/Thurs children in the 2’s & 3’s is Tuesday, June 6th. For Mon/Wed/Fri children it is Wednesday June 7th. The last day for the Extended Day programs is June 7th.

Graduation for the 4’s will take place on Thursday, June 8th outside on the grass in front of the church. We will set up the chairs we have (and parents can also bring some to make sure we have enough).

It will begin at 9:30am for the morning children and 1:00pm for our afternoon children followed by outside parties (please drop your children off in the classroom at the regular time; 9:00am for AM children and 12:30 for children in the PM class). All are welcome to come…parents, siblings, grandparents, friends, etc. Congratulations Graduates!! We’re so proud of you.

Camp begins on Monday, June 12th and runs through Friday, August 18th. Camp is from 9-12pm with the option of Extended Day till 3:00pm (Early Drop-off is also available at 8:00am as well as a 4:00pm pick-up option for the first 2 weeks). Spots are filling up. If you need a registration form, just let me know.

Enrollment packets for the 2023-2024 school year will be mailed out by the beginning of July. They will include the school calendar, medical form, information forms for parents to fill out, information from teachers, parent handbook, information/registration forms for enrichment programs for 3’s & 4’s (yoga, art, soccer, gymnastics, and literacy). If you have any questions at all, I will be here for most of the summer and you can always email me as well.

It’s been a wonderful year. It’s always bittersweet when it ends as we have enjoyed so much getting to know all the children and their families. Time just flies by so fast. Thank you for making our school year such an enjoyable one. Have a fun and relaxing summer.

Gigi
