Dear Parents,
I hope you’re all doing well and enjoyed Halloween. Our parades here were wonderful and the children looked so cute in their costumes. I was so grateful for the nice weather and Halloween was a lot of fun. Thank you for coming and with helping with costumes. We really appreciate it.
We have a number of things coming up this month. On 11/6 & 11/7, we’re celebrating Diwali with some special books and a special snack. Some information on Diwali will go home in the backpacks. Happy Diwali everyone!
The 2’s Parent/Teacher conferences are taking place on 11/7 & 11/8 (a sign-up form is posted at the 2’s drop-off door) and conferences can be done in person and also by phone if you prefer. The AM 4’s conferences with Miss Peggy will be on 11/19 & 11/20 and can also take place in person or by phone (sign-up forms will be
posted at 4’s drop-off door). The 3’s Parent/Teacher conferences with Miss Rosie & Miss Kim (both AM & PM) have been pushed back a little to 11/21 & 11/22 (sign-up forms are posted at 3’s drop-off door). The PM 4’s conferences with Miss Rosie will be on 12/5 & 12/6. Sign- up forms will be posted at the 4’s door as it gets closer.
*If these conference dates don’t work for you, it’s no problem…we can always work out a different day…just let your teacher know. **School is in session on all conference days.
Our annual Friendship Feasts will be taking place right before the Thanksgiving break on Tuesday, Nov. 26 th in the AM & PM. What do we do for our feasts? We bring extra tables into the 3’s classroom and the 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s have a wonderful feast altogether. Each class makes something special for the feast. We typically make soup with pasta & vegetables, cornbread, banana bread, fruit salad etc. It’s an event just for the children and parents don’t need to attend. We’ll have one feast in the morning from 10:00-11:30am and one in the afternoon from 1:30-3:00pm. If your child doesn’t normally come to school on Tuesdays, they’re welcome to join us for the feast. Our Thanksgiving break takes place on 11/27, 11/28, & 11/29.

Our annual Holiday Concerts will take place on Thursday, 12/19. We will have one concert in the morning beginning at 9:30am and one in the afternoon at 1:00pm. They will take place upstairs in the church and are followed by classroom parties for the families. All are welcome to come; moms, dads, grandparents, siblings, friends, etc. The concerts are 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s together. The AM concert is for children in the AM 2’s, AM 3’s & AM 4’s. The PM concert is for children in the PM 2’s, PM 3’s & PM 4’s. Children who attend for full days on Thursdays in the 2’s will participate in both concerts (just as they did for the Halloween Parade). And just as with the Friendship Feasts, children who don’t normally attend school on Thursdays, are invited to be part of our concerts. Our music teacher, Matt, will be working hard with the kids in preparation and it’s always such a nice performance. More details to come as we get closer.
Registration for the 2025-2026 school year will begin on Monday, Nov. 18 th for current families. We will open it up for new families beginning on Monday, Dec. 2 nd . I will be emailing out the registration forms/tuition information by next week. I will also put the forms in the backpacks. If you have any questions, just let me know.
